About Openhand

Openhand (https://www.openhand.online) is a non-custodial web interface. You connect a wallet, compare live on-chain yield, and sign every deposit and withdrawal yourself. We never hold, pool, or transmit your crypto.

Who operates this

The site is operated by Openhand (Canada). Contact hello@openhand.online.

Nature of the business

Openhand is software: a browser interface that reads public on-chain data and helps you assemble transactions your wallet signs. We are not a bank, broker, dealer, exchange, money transmitter, or custodian. We do not operate a pooled vault and we do not take a cut inside protocol deposit or withdraw calls.

Fiat on-ramp and off-ramp (CAD / Interac ↔ USDC) is provided exclusively by Transak. Transak is the merchant of record for that checkout, runs user identity checks, and sends USDC to — or receives USDC from — the wallet you connect. Openhand does not receive CAD or USDC from that checkout.

What this is not

Yield is not a deposit and is not insured. Returns change and are not guaranteed. Nothing here is investment, tax, or legal advice, and the catalog is not a recommendation — we do not score or feature a “best” opportunity. Dashboard tapes of tokenized stocks or spot crypto are wallet-signed LI.FI routes, not Transak, and not a brokerage.

How it works

Wallet, USDC, then a transaction you sign

  1. Step 1

    Connect a wallet

Email or a passkey creates a wallet via Privy. You can also connect MetaMask, Rainbow, or WalletConnect. Openhand does not store keys.

  2. Step 2

    Add USDC

Buy with CAD through Transak (their checkout, their identity checks) or send USDC you already hold. Funds arrive in your wallet, not ours.

  3. Step 3

    Deposit on-chain

Browse live rates and pick any card. Your wallet signs the protocol transaction. There is no featured pick and no pooled Openhand vault.
